Just a few words.....

I know it's been a while.......

 But I did want to stop by on Easter and just say

a few things and being busy was just not allowing me to.

Easter is about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Without the resurrection we would not have eternal life one day!

The Resurrection represents the fulfillment of the prophecies

of the Old Testament and the revelation of God's salvation 

plan for all humankind. So we celebrate the defeat of death

(spiritually) and the HOPE of Salvation. 

I believe that God raised Jesus on the third day

after his crucifixion, starting - or restoring - his

exalted life as Christ and Lord!!

So, HOPE is not dead, because JESUS is Alive!!!!

So in essence, the Resurrection represents Christ's

 victory over death and the promise of eternal life

for those who follow him!!

The Resurrection

28 At the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.

² And then there was a great earthquake. For the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat on it. ³ His countenance was like lightning, and his garments white as snow. ⁴ The soldiers shook for fear of him and became like dead men.

⁵ The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid. For I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. ⁶ He is not here. For He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. ⁷ Then go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead, and indeed, He is going before you to Galilee. There you will see Him. Listen, I have told you.”

⁸ So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. ⁹ As they went to tell His disciples, suddenly Jesus met them, saying, “Greetings!” They came and took hold of His feet and worshipped Him. ¹⁰ Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go tell My brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.”
